I'm not sure what others think, but I feel the upcoming Miss Wisconsin competiton will be one of the most competitive contests that we have seen in years. This year there are four former Miss Wisconsin Teens competing, who have all basically had a trial run at what it's like to be Miss Wisconsin. One would think their interviews and talents would all be top notch. All four of last year's runner's up are also returning. While I was surprised that Kylee and Halle advanced to top 5 last year, I wasn't disappointed. It's nice to have some new faces in the mix. Then we have two contestants that made top 5 in 2023, Paige and Jasmine, that should again be strong contenders. Finally, there are several contestants who are returning to state who have never made top 10 who shouldn't be ruled out: Willow, Jenna,Crystal, and Rosie. Any contestant that hopes to make top 10 is going to have to be strong in all areas -- if their talent is mediocre or if they're struggling in the fitness category, they're not going to cut it. It's nice that Wisconsin can boost so many strong contestants with no clear front-runner. It will make for an interesting and exciting competition.
