National Sweetheart Pageant
August 28, 2025

We’re so excited to announce that former Miss Milwaukee, Rebecca (Becky) Kurucz, is one of our judges for the 2025 National Sweetheart Pageant!

Becky has spent nearly 30 years volunteering with Miss America Wisconsin locals and the Miss Wisconsin state program, serving in roles ranging from committee member and judges chairman to stage producer, choreographer, and director.

She also spent more than a decade as choreographer for the Mrs. Wisconsin United States Pageant and currently serves as choreographer for the Mrs. Worldwide/USA Pageant.

A former titleholder herself, Becky was named Young Woman of the Year, as well as Miss St. Francis 1994, Miss Polishfest 1996, Miss Milwaukee 1997, and was a runner-up at Miss Wisconsin.

Her professional background is just as impressive. Becky holds an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education, a Master’s in Reading and Language Arts, and National Board Certification. She spent 23 years teaching across Wisconsin before beginning her current work as a paralegal.

Based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Becky enjoys traveling, snorkeling, hiking, reading, and camping in her camper van, affectionately named Patches O’HouliVAN.

We are thrilled to welcome Becky to Hoopeston, Illinois this Labor Day weekend as part of our 2025 Miss National Sweetheart judging panel!
