Subject: Comments on Facebook by Miss Kenosha 2022

This surprising message was posted this evening, Thursday, January 8, 2026 on Facebook by Jenna Lee Jane Zeihen, who was Miss Kenosha 2022 and Miss Great Lakes in 2023.

It would have been nice had Jenna went into details if only to help people understand matters---and make corrections.

And the current director of the Miss Kenosha Organization is former Miss Kenosha 2018, Lily Karnes....what does she have to say about any of this? Lily's talent at Miss Kenosha and at Miss Wisconsin was an aerial dance with silks by hanging on to the sheets from the ceiling to the song "Survivor".

Well, after Jenna's comments, perhaps the Miss Kenosha program can "survive" but it may be a metaphor of that is happening with Lily's Miss Kenosha pageant organization in Kenosha....its all hanging on by a thread?? And what happened to longtime city pageant director and Miss Kenosha 2014, Tori Bogren Pillizzi?

Here is the Facebook link to Jenna's commentary, and wish her well, and maybe ask if she plans to attend the 2026 Miss Kenosha pageant on February 14, which is Valentine's day? Maybe they can all kiss and make-up on that special day of the pageant!! lol

I’ve gone back and forth on whether to share this, but it feels important to finally say it.

I was Miss Kenosha 2022 and stayed involved in the organization afterward, including stepping into a co-director role. Stepping away was never what I wanted, but I did ultimately resign and am no longer involved. It was a painful decision rooted in ethics and values, and one I stayed quiet about for a long time out of respect for the girls and the timing.

The hardest part has been people thinking I just jumped ship, or walked away from the girls, and something I cared deeply about. That was never the truth.

The sisterhood will always mean so much to me. I’m incredibly proud of Miss Kenosha 2025, Nellyka Dennis and the way she has represented our community, and I’m cheering on the next Miss Kenosha with nothing but love.

With love,
Jenna
