Subject: Miss Kenosha

I guess no one realized that today is the 2026 Miss Kenosha pageant, with 18 contestants, mostly all new entrants, which the pageant says is the largest group of contestants to compete for the Miss Kenosha title.

Also, this year the pageant marks its 100th year anniversary with many former Miss Kenosha winners returning for a reunion--including the current Miss Wisconsin 2025, Willow Newell, as she was previously Miss Kenosha in 2023.

Interestingly, Miss Kenosha and Miss La Crosse/Oktoberfest are alike in being long-running local pageants which does not crown a teen winner. All scholarships at the Miss Kenosha show tonight, 6:30 pm at the St. Joseph Catholic Academy High School, goes to the Miss Kenosha entrants--and seven of them are older than 24 years old this year. They are still in college to use the pageant scholarship?

Congratulations to Miss Kenosha 2025, Nellyka (Nelly) Dennis on a great year, and all the best to the new Miss Kenosha, who will be the 100th year anniversary title-holder, even if, just like over in Madison which had their 100th year celebration in January, there has not technically been 99 previous Miss Kenosha pageants/winners since 1926. Good luck to all 18 contestants tonight. Any picks who will win the title?
