Subject: Contestants that Compete Multiple Times
In reply to: and they probably also look-up contestants online 's message, "That is why pageants are rigged----all based on who won what years before and the judges know it too" on 15:46:31 04/22/26 Wed

1. Contestants should never ever include their past pageant experience or titles won on their fact sheets. If they do, the directors should have them remove it.
2. As long as local contestants can return to the state level as many times as they choose, you are going to have instances where the judges are going to be familiar with them. I personally think there should be a limit on the number of times a woman can compete because when it gets to be six or seven times, it has to be VERY difficult for the person(or people) who is in charge of recruiting the state judges to find people who haven't previously judged one of the contestants. It should also be noted that all state judges usually come from a different state.
3. I'm sure some of the judges may check on how active a local titleholder has been in her city/community through social media, but if I were a judge I would come in with a clean slate and make my decisions based on what I see and hear during the week of the competition.
