1962---Miss La Crosse, Joan Mary Engh of La Crosse was named Miss Wisconsin 1962


(Her local title then was Miss La Crosse, a few years before the merged Miss La Crosse and Miss Oktoberfest titles became Miss Miss La Crosse/Oktoberfest in the mid-1960s. Prior to being named Miss La Crosse, Joan was Wisconsin's Alice in Dairyland of 1960, thus she is celebrating her 60th year anniversary of being Alice in Dairyland 1960 this year.)
