Subject: Miss Wisconsin week.....canceled

No breaking news here....but....

Today is Tuesday, August 18, 2020, what would have been the first night of Miss Wisconsin preliminary competitions for the then-postponed 2020 Miss Wisconsin pageant. Of course, the entire state pageant was canceled until next June. The same applies to the anxious talented Miss Wisconsin's Outstanding Teen contestants who will compete in the 2021 state teen pageant in Oshkosh next June.

But just think, right now in the middle of hot blistering August, everyone could be in Oshkosh for the state pageant if not for some of the most stupid folks in Wisconsin who refused to wear a mask, ignore guidelines for social distancing, refuse to wash hands frequently, and not gather in places to keep this virus alive and well---it will be 2023 before this is over thanks for the arrogance of know-it-alls, who ironically are the ones who most want to go to bars, restaurants and attend large gatherings.
