Subject: Condolences from Oshkosh??

This is interesting. Miss Milwaukee 1944 and Miss Wisconsin of 1944 has been dead for a full week now since she passed away last Monday night, September 16, 2019 in Florida at age 95, and now over a week later the Miss Wisconsin Facebook page has belated little condolence message:

"Our condolences go out to Elyse's family and friends for the loss of a wonderful women. Rest in Peace, Miss Wisconsin 1944, Elyse Sutter."

Of course, this comes from the same state pageant organization which removed Elsie (Elyse) Sutter's name from the printed pageant program book which had a list of past Miss Wisconsin winners, sans 1944. But thanks for the heartfelt condolences eight days later.

Anyone care to guess when the Miss Milwaukee Facebook page will "fondly" remember Miss Milwaukee of 1944??
