Subject: Honoring former state pageant director


In yesterday's Kenosha News, the local newspaper had this nice tribute to Franklin Page Gail, who was the state director of the Miss Wisconsin pageant in 1959 and 1960, even if the current state board totally ignored his passing on December 27, 2019 at age 93:

No condolences by the state board in Oshkosh or even a Miss Wisconsin Facebook mention to honor Mr. Gail, who helped get Mary Alice Fox of Sheboygan to Atlantic City where she was named first runner-up to Miss America 1960.
