The ultimate goal for any local director and anyone involved in a local organization is for their titleholder to reach the Miss America stage. Why would anyone want to be involved with the MAO after the train wreck we witnessed on Thursday night.
Canille is a lovely accomplished woman (just like so many other women that competed on that stage) but if they were really following the judging criteria of talent being 50% of the contestant's preliminary score, she should have never won. What she presented was a presentation, not a talent -- and should have been scored accordingly
