Those competing for the 2020 Miss Milwaukee Area title tonight are:

1---Alex Marie Matson of Racine (Miss Racine and Miss Madison 2020 runner-up last month, competed for Miss Kenosha last Saturday)
2---Angelica Rosette Niemann of Quincy, Illinois/Milwaukee, Wis. (Three-time Miss Illinois contestant; previous top ten state finalist)
3---Willow Ybre Newell of Racine (Miss Racine Teen 2017 and Miss Belle City Teen 2018)
4---Jenna Lee Watkins of Mukwonago (Miss New Berlin 2019)

And apparently Hayli Jane Donald will be the appointed Miss Milwaukee Area's Outstanding Teen 2020. She just concluded her Miss West Allis' Outstanding Teen 2019 reign last Saturday.

So, it looks like we may have another Illinois woman, Angelica, to succeed Miss Milwaukee 2019, Gabriella Suliga of Romeoville, Illinois, as Miss Milwaukee Area. But in this case, Angelica is more like former Miss Onalaska 2017, Erin Kelsey O'Brien who dearly wanted to come to Wisconsin to get a chance at Miss America. But Erin, with her ukulele/vocal talent, only got third runner-up at Oshkosh. Now we got pageant gal Angelica who likes nothing but to show off fancy clothes and compete in pageants.

If Willow wins the crown tonight, she would be the first black woman to win the crown, and the second black to hold the Miss Milwaukee crown after Lora Rene Davis assume the city title in 1981 when Keungsuk Kim was named Miss Wisconsin 1981.

Good luck to all contestants tonight at Pius XI Catholic High School, at 135 North 76th Street in Milwaukee. And congratulations to Gabriella Suliga and Miss Milwaukee Area's Outstanding Teen 2019, Anneliese Vass as outgoing city titleholders.

  - Well thats the easy part, its finding out who got the runner-up position. We all knew -- out-of-stater Angelica would get the Miss Milw. title, 13:30:48 02/16/20 Sun
