By the way, Joan Mary Engh was Miss La Crosse when she won the Miss Wisconsin crown in 1962; and she was previously runner-up in the 1959 Miss Wisconsin pageant when she was Miss West Wisconsin.

Doris Arlene Olsen, who competed in the 1955 Miss Wisconsin pageant as Miss Green County, was chosen as Alice in Dairyland in 1956.

Miss Madison 1963, Carol Jean Anderson of Superior was previously Alice in Dairyland 1961.

Another Miss Wisconsin 1963 classmate, Kathleen (Kathy) Ann Kenas, who was Miss Ripon 1963, later was chosen as Alice in Dairyland 1965.

Roberta (Bobbie) Jean Thoreson, who was Miss West Allis 1967, was later selected as Alice in Dairyland of 1968.

Miss Rice Lake AquaFest 1971, Mary A. Hopkins was named Alice in Dairyland 1973.

Miss Oshkosh 1973, Cynthia (Cindy) Marie Basler was a contestant in the 1974 Alice in Dairyland finals, but did not place. Coincidentally, also competing with Cindy for the Alice title that year was former Miss St. Francis 1972, Diane May Sotski.

Susan E. Masterson, who competed in the Miss Janesville pageant in 1969 and placed first runner-up, but did not assume the city title when Miss Janesville 1969, Cynthia (Cindy) Anne Morgan was selected as Miss Wisconsin 1969.

More recently, former Miss Green Bay Area 2013, Allyson Diane Binversie of Manitowoc was a contestant in the 2014 Alice in Dairyland competition, but did not win the title. Incidentally, her mother, Stephanie Roth Binversie, was Alice in Dairyland of 1989:
