No, I am not blind. I chose 8 of the top 11 and 4 of the top 5. Kenosha's talent was unique, something we've never seen on the Miss Wisconsin stage. People have stated how much strength it takes to do something like that, and I might add-- courage. I feel it was a hard talent to score. I thought she did well with her evening gown presentation, and based that she swept all categories at her local pageant, I thought perhaps her interview was good enough to get her into the top 11.
Regarding Haley, I felt she looked different this year -- very polished and mature. I felt she had the best evening gown presentation of the entire group and thought she possibly would have received the overall evening gown award (although Katrina also looked amazing.) Her talent: yes it perhaps was on the weaker side, but I thought there was a possibility she would also sneak into the top 11. After three years at state, I would tend to agree with you that perhaps the private interview is an issue for her. But I had no way of knowing that. I'm not saying by any means that either were at the level of winning, but at least good enough to make the first cut.
