Subject: Take the money and run---away from Beloit??

Well, this should be no shock, the Miss Beloit pageant group has won the award at the Miss Wisconsin pageant of raising the most cash scholarship funds for a fifth consecutive year.

Congratulations. But the Beloit pageant gals seem to take the money and run, and we never hear where they attend college and how they put the scholarship money to good use. No Beloit Daily News stories on the post-pageant scholarship use to let the good donors know where their cash scholarships went---if they were even used in the first place. Hard-telling, maybe some of these Beloit gals are college drop-outs.

And do the Beloit winners even remain in Beloit long after their reigns and collage days, or just move out of the area and are rarely ever seen again in Beloit? Just take the money and run fast out of Beloit as possible??

Also, if you read this story, linked here, they are still peddling this myth that Miss Beloit 2019, Abby Miller is the"third Miss Beloit to place in the top 10, following Stephanie Klett in 1990 and Paige Frendahl in 2013."

Seriously?? Instead of spending time bragging about your pageant scholarship fundraising prowess, use that time to research your own pageant history in Beloit. Stephanie, Paige and Abby are not the only three Miss Beloit winners to make top ten at Miss Wisconsin.

But what is odd, the local Beloit Daily News is only now (July 8th) getting around to finally telling how the Miss Beloit and Miss Beloit's Outstanding Teen titleholders did at this year's state pageant in Oshkosh four long weeks ago. Bizarre. I would imagine the BDN newspaper will tell us tomorrow that Tony Evers was elected governor, replacing Scott Walker.
