Subject: Seevers from Morgantown WV to East Liverpool Ohio

I am a descendant of John Dallas Higgins Sr, Ella J Vermillion, Abraham Seevers, Ira Frank Seevers, & Carrie Vermillion Cheek. Carrie V Cheek Seevers was my great grandmother. Her lineage includes Cheek, Posey, & Higgins. Her son, my great uncle Frank V Seevers, still resides in Monaca, PA.
I have old photographs, some dating back to 1900 of my great grandma Seevers' relatives, including one from 1903 of her & her husband Ira Frank Seevers.
But what I cherish most, is when I was little, I would walk a block from my childhood home to visit my Great Grandmother Carrie Seevers, who told me stories of how her & her family travelled up the river on a flatbed boat, losing a dresser in the process. She was the oldest of 7 sisters, she had no brothers. One sister died very young, I think it might have been Pearl. Her sister Myra, my great aunt whom I was named after, married a Clark.
I don't have my records here with me but I believe I got as far back as 1748. My great grandmother was born in 1888 I think... passed away in 1983. What a long life & many stories she had to tell.
