My grandfather Frank Vernon Seevers was in born 1925. He is the son of Ira Franklin Seevers and Carrie Vernon Cheeks-Seevers. Carrie's father was Posey Cheeks who was Indian.
I know that Ira was raised by his great aunt, his mother was young and unwed...we think that Ira took his aunt's last name which was Seevers.
Frank's siblings: Harold Seevers, and Myra Seevers.
