Subject: Edward Severs b. 1875 proven to be the son of Joshua Severs b.1839

Mike Hall I have gotten Military Records of Joshua Severs b.1839 Ohio\W.Virginia. Also have the Death Record of Edward Severs stating his parents were Josh Severs and Mary J.Balmer Severs. Edward and Hannah Severs were my Mother's parents. My mother was May DiVietro Severs. Edward and Hannah had four children May, Anna, Frederick, and another son, George, who lived for only a couple of years. Joshua, injured during the Civil War, finished his last two years of service in a Phila. PA Hospital on nurse duty. He met his wife Mary J. Balmer in Phila.PA., and married her in 1864. Joshua's brother, John, as you know, is buried in W Virginia with his father David H. Severs, mother Hannah Briton Severs , sister Elizabeth, the Bennett and Hannah's second husband, Decker. There are no military records in Washington for John based on the info. stated on his grave stone. Can not find any info. for John. Is he a mystery? I found, visited, and took pictures of Joshua Severs' grave stone with his wife, Mary, and many of his family members listed. From Joshua's military records He is buried in Mt. Moriah Cemetery Phila. Pa. What else do I need to officially connect to this branch of the Seevers Family. Thank you Jim DiVietro Severs
