Subject: Barbra Seevers

Barbra Seevers, listed as descendant of John L. Seevers,born Ohio, July 1847, is not a child of John. John L. Seevers moved to Michigan and married Mary Elizabeth Brill. Their last child was Enoch Seevers. I do not, either, find a Barbra Seevers listed among John and Libby's grandchildren. My mother, Helen May Lewis Reed, is a daughter of Edna May Seevers Lewis and John and Libby's grand-daughter. She is 91 and she lived with her grandparents from the time of her mother's death in 1921 until her father remarried when she was nearly 7. She has a cousin, Ida May Griffiths VanderBos, daughter of Rozella Seevers, who still survives at age 94. Both have remarkable recall and neither remember a Barbra Seevers. The youngest three of John's children lived at home when my mother lived with them, although all were grown. Two of the three youngest, Ernest and Enoch never married.
