I am a descendent of Abraham Seevers, born in 1748 in New Jersey, died 8-1-1822 in Ohio. He married Mary. They had 9 children; a female, Jacob, *David, Charity, John, Margaret, Abraham, William, & a female.
*David, born 1779, married (unknown). They had 5 children; Abraham, Mary, Charity, *David H, & Elizabeth.
*David H, born 1814 in WV, married Hannah Britton, born 7-16-1813, 8 children, *Ephriam W, born 1-7-1835 in WV, died 4-24-1922, Ohio, Mariah, b 1837, Joshua, b 1840, Drusilla, b 1842 WV, William, b 3-1835, WV, Elizabeth, b 1846, George Wilson, b 6-29-1849, WV, & John.
*Ephriam W married Mary Ann, & later Emily. They had 6 children, Joshua, b 1860, WV, Alice J, b 2-5-1862, WV, Sarah Emma, b 5-26-1865, WV, Caroline, b 1867, WV, F, Hannah, b 1869, WV, & *Newton.
Newton married Fannie, had 1 son, *Ira Frank Seevers, b 12-30-2885 in St Marys WV.
*Ira Frank Seevers married Carrie Vermillion Cheek, (born 10-2-1887, daughter of Estella Starkey Higgins, b 1868, d Feb 1918 & Posey Franklin Cheek, b 6-4-1986, d 5-9-1941.) They married on 10-12-1886. Ira Frank Seevers died 3-2-1947 in East Liverpool OH. Carrie V Cheek Seevers, died 5-17-1983 in East Liverpool OH).

They had 7 daughters, my Great Grandmother Carrie was the oldest.

Carrie Vermillion Cheek was born October 2, 1887 in Wellsburg, West Virginia, the daughter of Estella Starkey Higgins (age 19) and Posey Franklin Cheek (age 22).
Ira Frank Seevers & Carrie Vermillion Cheek Seevers had 3 children, Harold Evert Seevers, b 5-13-1910, d 3-12-1983, Myra Vermillion Seevers, b 2-1-1919, d 5-17-1983 in East Liverpool Ohio, & Frank V Seevers, b 10-2-1035, still living in Monaca, PA.
Harold Evert Seevers married Alyce Otillia Noland & was later divorced. They had 5 children, Harold Theodore Seevers, b 8-21-1929, Robert Earl Seevers, b 10-23-1930, Donna Jean Seevers, b 7-15-1932, Thomas Edward Seevers, b 8-29-1934, & Harold Wayne Seevers, b 1-10-1939. Harold Evert Seevers married his second wife Dorothy “Dot” Lucas on 3-12-1949. He died 3-12-1983.
Frank Vernon Seevers Born 10/02/1925 Married Phyllis Jackson & they had 4 girls: Linda Lee Seevers-Born 06/23/1948. She married Howard Olver. They had children & are now divorced. Lorraine Francis Seevers-Born 06/16/1950 married Tom Yousey. They had 2 children, & are now divorced. Nancy Lou Seevers-Born 06/19/1954 married (Bud) Yanni. They had 2 children & are now divorced. Susan Kay Seevers-Born 10/12/1957 married & later divorced, she has a daughter Amanda. Frank Vernon Seevers & Phyllis Jackson later divorced. Frank later married Helen (JoAnn) Sovich on August 09, 1969. They had 1 son, Brian Vernon Seevers-Born 10/12/1977. Brian has not yet married.
Myra Vermillion Seevers married Charles Allmon, who died after falling into a vat of hot molten steel at work. They had 2 children, Charles Allmon & **Jeannette Marie Allmon. She later married Arthur Leroy Tice.
- Charles Allmon married Carol, they had 3 children, Arthur L Allmon, Debbie Allmon Westfall, & Susan Lynette Allmon. Arthur L married Patty, they have no children. Debbie married Frank Westfall, they have 1 daughter, Jennifer. Susan Lynette has 2 daughters, Christina Cotrell & Carol Ann Cottrell.
- Jeanette Marie Allmon, b 8-2-1940, married Leroy L Nease, b 11-25-1935, d 1-2008, Lee was a son of John Lewis Nease & Mura Wright. Lee & Jeannette had 3 daughters, Carrie Lynn Nease, b 9-25-1963, Myra Jean Nease, b 6-10-1964, & Penny Sue Nease, b 5-16-1969.
o Carrie Lynn Nease married David Keith Eckstein in 1986, they have 3 sons, David Thomas, Joshua Lee, & Andrew James.
o *Myra Jean Nease married Stephen Wayne Camp on 10-6-1984. They had 3 children, Kristin Marie b 4-7-1983 d 4-9-1983 San Diego CA, Stephen Wayne Camp Jr, b 4-17-1985 & Kristin Elizabeth Camp, b 8-5-1991. They divorced 4-30-1994.
o Penny Sue Nease married Gregory Earl Rice, they later divorced. They had 2 sons, Austin Gregory Rice & Nicholas Scott Rice.
