Subject: Alumni

Now this is all fine-and-fuckin-dandy. Marc G has a great point, my ever-insightful TWIN Scurvey does as well, but part of my big complaint for the fraternity's problem come as much from the "ALUMNI" as it does from the actives. When I was an active member of the fraternity from 98-05, how many alumni do I recall running into or hearing from or receiving donations from? The answer: Squirrel, Suicide, Rage, and that's about it. There is quite a need for Alumni interaction at West Liberty. I know that it is quite a distance from humanity-way up that fucking hill-but it should be a priority of us all to help out brothers in their time of need. At the end of my tenure as an active member I was basically giving a big FUCK YOU to the old fucks that call themselves alumni of our grand fraternity. We gave them one fucking hell of a 50 year anniversary banquet, and we got NOTHING in return. Our fraternity is faltering and the blame does not rest solely on the shoulders of the actives. All you will hear from actives during pledging is how unbelievably supportive our alumni are and how great the alumni are etc. But the truth is we do not live up to the hype that our actives give us. If we were even close, then our fraternity would be the most recognizable and sought after on campus. Just my thoughts before we lose something that is so dear to all of us.

Oh yeah. We've never been pussies, so who's afraid to piss the school off a little?? Like Buck said, you're supposed to get in trouble in college.
