 Snorting in contempt as the other minx moved towards her, Sierra stood firm in her spot, watching the mare with an unyielding stare. The other held herself in a superior fashion, but Sierra cared little for such acts of dominance; why would this vix show rank when Sierra had little reason to listen to her? Pointless.

“Sierra.” She stated bluntly, shaking her ebony crania, which allowed her crimson forelock to descend down her face. “And you are?” It was said with a bit of animosity; after all, this mare had approached her with an attitude that would not gain respect.

The black chestnut had an undeniable patience, though if provoked it could be nasty; she would not bother others if they did not bother her, but she would never hesitate to defend herself. Sierra was a loner…every bit of it; she had no friends, no family, no herd. So why was she in the pasture? That was a question not even she had the answer to.
