Two brawm coursers came riding at a run

riding like the moon and riding like the sun

One was honey to the roots of her hair

The other was spiced like the midnight air

Th' two horses ingressed upon th' pasture. Howlets honey coat shining next to her friends darkness. Th' two year olds stopped, not daring to leave each others side.
Nightingale snorted into th' night wind, 'is breath condensing with th' cold air, making 'im look like a demon. Th' two young horses moved forward. Howlet pressing close to her friend for warmth and comfort. Nightingale turned to pull gently on 'er mane before sheltering from th' night beneath a tree.

Th' morning dawned bright. Nightingales eyelids fluttered open. Leaving Howlet laying where she was, 'e walked away from 'er to drink at a stream.
Whilst th' young colt was gone, Howlet got up and wandered in th' opposite direction, wondering where 'er friend had gone. 'er nares inhale stallion scents and 'er honey skin quivered. Not knowing to stay quiet, 'he let out a piercing cry.

Nightingale lifted 'is black 'ead from th' water. Auds catch a mares cry, but 'e did not investigate it, 'e wandered back to th' tree, to find Howlet gone. 'e three beated in th' direction 'he had gone.
