((haha totally making this character up on the spot so sorry if it sucks))

The rim of his hat shaded the cowboy's eyes from the swealtering sun. His horse, Pokey (to go along with the nickname), was plodding along at an easy pace. The man's real name was Nick but rarely did anyone ever call him that. Instead, he went by Gumby, his favourite television character.

He'd recently moved from Canada to Australia and had been hired to round up some feral equines and break them in. Didn't seem like too daunting a task and it went for a hefty pay check so Gumby accepted and took his horse out to the island to see what it had to offer. Upon reaching the Pasture lands, he certainly wasn't unimpressed.

"Heh! We'll be done in two days! There's so many of 'em!"
