She glared at him through crystal optics at his next remark. Ice was defensive, not frightened- she would never taint her honor with such a pity emotion. So he didn't think she could care for herself?

"Well sadly, you have yet to learn of the reason for the wound." She replied in the same sarcasm.

Ice fell silent for some time, pondering over just what to think about this brute. Turqoise orbs followed him as he paced around her, but she did not turn to face him; it would waste her time to do so. She felt his touch of claimage- an insignia that had never been bestowed upon her, yet it seemed so familiar.

She trailed after him, but remained distant from the brute, partially because she didn't trust him, but she couldn't move very fast either. Ice fought to hide any sign of weakness, refusing to let the stallion catch sight of her vulnerability.

'No I don't need anybody,' she thought, 'never have and never will.'
