As I wandered about the claiming lands, I also wandered about the labyrinth that is my mind. Always looking for the exit, always finding it, always getting out... for awhile. I kept going back to the beginning in a whole new maze. I felt like my mind was trying to trap me inside it, to lock me in a dark embrace as walls closed in. But I wouldn't let it.

I could smell stallions and I could smell mares. The stallions seemed to smell protective, possibly even violent. The mares seemed to smell afraid, although some smelt like this was a waste of time. I knew how they felt, for I was one of them. Passing by two lights in disgust at their lovey-dovey attitude, I lurked in the shadows, my hooves carrying me about in the labyrinth that was my world. My reality. My mind...
