Date Posted: 16:42:16 03/03/05 Thu In reply to: Shetan 's message, "..Play with a devil.." on 13:01:22 03/03/05 Thu Yuna felt the snowflakes hit her as the icy gems fell from the graying sky and the gentle whistling of the breeze let her know that the snow would continue to fall. Crystal eyes remained firmly on the stallion though she could not see him; she was left to just imagine his appearace, although it was difficult since she had never seen another equine. Life was hard when one had to live without ever knowing what anything looked like; sometimes it was difficult even imagining objects. However, after six years of living in darkness, Yuna had never given up trying to find a place for herself in her society –that was the reason she was a wandering loner. A long dead friend had at one time told her, ‘Everyone falls, but it is the ones who succeed who keep getting back up again. Not only do you care enough to get back up again, but those who care for you will keep begging you to.’ It were those few words that had kept her going, regardless of the persecution she received from other equines. In ways, she had become antisocial, and oftentimes she enjoyed the feelings of solitude. Surprised as he spoke of going along with her, Yuna was at a loss for words, uncertain about this stallion. He treated her so differently…she wanted to trust him, to believe his words…but she could not believe it was possible –not sure she wanted to get her hopes up. “If you were to join me,” she began, “I would only lead you to nowhere. I move along wherever fate takes me.” Her voice was not as chilly as it had been the first few minutes and she spoke in a calm distant tone. When Shetan offered to take her to his herd, Yuna thought on it for a moment. If she was to accompany him, Yuna was not certain she would stay; she was the kind of horse that did not handle large groups well. “Destiny decides my place in this world…I will join you, but it is unlikely I will stay long.” She warned him. He had not forced her into his home; therefore, she had agreed to go with him. However, whether or not she remained…that was up to the future to decide.
