Subject: I'm getting P.O.'d!

Hi...I've been looking for some help and just found this page. Maybe y'all can help me out. I'm in Abandoned Mines B1. Finished the level (first playthrough....getting stuff ready to fight Guildenstern), but I can't for the life of me get out of The Pear. I've moved the three point rock to the spot that I understand it's supposed to be. I just don't know where to jump.

I've taken all my elixir of dragoon, I've thrown Invigorate and Faeiry Wing on there, but all I do is fall down in the frickin' crevasse. Is there something I'm not doing right here? Where, exactly, should I be aiming with this jump? As I see it, the wooden catwalk edge is exactly even with the bottom edge of the crevasse. Am I right to be aiming there? Is there a trick to it? How about a grimoire that causes a ladder of Evil or something that I can use (just kidding, that...)?

I've been down here three times now. I can get all the way through and all the way back to the Pear, but am stuck at that point. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.
