That is a bunch of crap. If a 10.00 min runner in Canada is counter there should be a greater accountability to train with desire. The talent level at many of the Canadian schools is very similar to the 2nd tier schools in America. The reason the attitude is not the same as the American schools is in my opinion that the coaches do not care as much about track. The results from many of the cross country meets here in Canada are similar to many in the States. Then in track season we are not keeping the kids on task. There are a ton of kids at home that are not well coached in the highschool ranks and will have a great improvement curve. Walk on teams in America can beat the best in Canada. That is CRAP.
