I am researching my wife's uncle, Gavin Egerton. He was a member of Co I, 3rd Bn, 505th PIR. He recently passed away but never talked much about his experience though we know he was one of the original members,and made all four combat jumps. We are trying to put his history together for the family. Any help would be much appreciated
