Subject: Use Of enemy weapons By the 505th in salerno

I have been reading on to Berlin By General James Gavin and i have read that the 505th had seized some Panxer Faust's in Salerno in lieu of the bazooka, Was this a common practice and training of Parachute Infantry Units after the campaign in Italy or was it a unit by unit Preference
