Hi Shawn;

The best way I know is research. First try looking through a copy of "READY" the official 505th unit history for WWII under the index for H company. It might also be worthwhile to familiarize yourself with some of the more notable members of H company like Cloyd Wigel.

other good resources include Phil Nordyke's "ALL AMERICAN" and "COMBAT JUMP"

H Company was part of third Battalion. Where are you located. If your in the Pacific Northwest we would be interested in meeting you.

e-mail me if you like.

I'll take a look through what I have regarding leadership but you have to be patient. we are preparing for a living history display at Fort Stevens this coming weekend and will be setting up for the DOD at Vancouver Barracks the following weekend so things are a little hectic right now.
