Subject: Hello Sam , this Feb Going to Trois Pont

Hello Sam. long time since I posted here. I am going to Belgium next week to participate in the yearly "IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF THE 82nd AIRBORNE' march that commemorates each PIR of the division in the Bulge. While there I shall go to the hill just to the East of Trois pont were E/2/505 held off elements of the 1st SS Pz Div on 21 December 1944. Does anyone have any additional info on this action that is not already covered in Phil Nordykes book or Alan Langdons book ?. I would appreciate it. Will let you know how the trip went as I am visiting many of the spots the 505 fought at. Hey any good re-enactments out by you or Living history involving 505 PIR coming up. I would love to get out of the NJ, NY and Pennsylvania area. All the best Tommy Mcardle
