Subject: Anyone know Andrew Pankovich from Ohio

I happen to come across this site through Yahoo and found out my Uncle was looking for info as well. So hello David! For all others, I am looking for stories or people who might have known my grandfather. He didn't talk much about the war but I do have some stories that were passed down to me from others and by him. One of them I would love to know if it is true. It was about him in a swimming race with a female French silver metal winner. He lost but I would love to know if it was true. If anyone has any info on Andrew Pankovich I would love to hear it.
