I couldn't agree more. John Moran's book on Pathfinders is a HUGE disappointment. Redundant, poorly presented, badly photographed, shabbly documented and unrecommendable. While I appreciate the author's attempt and I believe it is his first book I cannot understand the publisher's going ahead with such an amature manuscript. Bad management by the editors and publishers...not consistant with Shiffer's otherwise good work. And like the rest of their books way overpriced. As an author I understand Mr. Moran may not have had any input after the line editing process and may not have had any say in the photographic representation (this is common, therefore, I do not fault John Moran but his publishers for this dismal book.

Tom
