Subject: WTS Inland M1 Carbine

Hello, I am looking to sell a very nice Inland M1. Receiver Stamped INLAND DIV 55237_ _, barrel stamped INLAND MFG. DIV. GENERAL MOTORS 9-44. I know inland and winchester had some Serials that overlaped then the Inlands were XXX out, The last digits do not appear to be one of these. Type 3 sights and type 3 bayonet lug. Receiver, barrel, and sight all original finsh. At some point in its life it has had an overhaul, which is common, barrel band is not correct for Inland of this Serial#, also the bolt is the flat type, Standard Products, not round, and the handguard is Winchester. BUT TRIGGER HOUSING, HAMMER, and MAGAZINE CATCH ARE ALL CORRECT INLAND. I do not want to portray this as something that it is not. I have taken time to list its flaws as well as possitive attributes. It is truly a beautiful weapon. I have over 4 megs of pictures of it and all proofs. If you are interested in seeing the pics please email me, and have an empty mailbox. $700. Outside of Oregon or Washington, it will need to be shipped to an FFL.
Thank you
Roger

also hard case, sling, oiler, and magazines included
