Subject: English tribute to the men of the 505th PIR

Just a brief message to let the veterans and relatives of the men of the 505th PIR that they are not forgotten over here. This morning June 6th 2004, my wife and I dropped a floral tribute from our Piper Tomahawk, onto the remains of the runway at RAF Folkingham, Lincolnshire, England, where men of the 505th PIR flew to Normandy in C47's on the night of June 5th/6th 1944. This was our personnal tribute in recognition of what those men did for us to give us freedom from tyranny.

Rest easy.
