Robert M. PIPER still looks 'terrific' though being 83 years old ! I met him at the "Bastogne Historical Center" last sunday Sep 08 and discussed various topics with him and Mike De Trez for + one hour ... and still a fine gentleman !
I met him in 1982 - 1984 - 1994 and 1997 (a totally different character as compared to Forrest L. GUTH, who I met April 2

All I know that Col. Piper is the subject of the second personalities book by Michel Detrez. The first one on Cpl Forrest Guth is very interesting. I have the book on order, but it hasn't arrived yet.
