Had Lava been a human her face would've paled. "Jesar! Why? Why did you go there there's nothing there but horse-eating lizards!" She exclaimed, tossing her thick black mane. She flinches slightly, he had called her by her name instead of 'Mom'. This is not what she wanted at all when she had thought of a foal. The thought of Fear made her chest hurt. She wished desperatly he was here, she wasn't doing a very good parenting job.
"I don't like it here," He begins, watching her stance change from fearful to injured. He had successfully struck a nerve. Looking down at his hooves he continues. "I feel trapped in. There's not enough here for me. I love the dragons..." And they accept me, of sorts. He almost added, but thought better of it. "Lava, I want to live with them."
Her throat tightens, and she drops her head ruefully. How could she keep him here? She was at the disadvantage. Why me? Really. Why me? She's suddenly quite angry. I did nothing to deserve this! "Jesar, do whatever you want. Just... Just don't hurt anyone." Or yourself. I love you, Jesar.
Surprise, pleasant surprise. Smiling he takes off again, leaving the territory behind him without another word.
