"Splendid!" She begins to gather them up in throw them in a small pile, "Hamilton will just love these in his little cag- er, home." She motions to a turtle, sitting placidly in the center of four large sticks that he could easily crawl out of. "Isn't he adorable?"

†She looks at the turtle, slowly formulating a wicked little plan in her head. She backs away from Cara slowly..†

Err..he sure is..

†She quickly bounces off and finds a large stone that looks like a turtle shell then returns to Cara and the turtle in the cage. As Cara picks the icky water thingies, she picks up Hamiliton in her fangs and throws him into the pond. And replaces him with the stone†

Cara dear..Have you been feeding Hammy? I think he is dead.

She shrieks and cuddles the rock, afraid to look at her beloved pet. She begins to bawl, "I've fed him, I've fed him! I have, really! He just ...well, he was never healthy - I think he had Saminilia - but- but- but," Her words are cut off by her heart-wrenching sobs. Carefully the Arabian digs a shallow hole, puts the rock in it, and covers it with dirt.

She lifts her head, tears streaming down her cheek, when she sees the real Hamilton floating in the pond. "Aww, let's help him, he's drowning!" Diving head first into the pond, the mare's tears stop imediately. Grabbing Hamilton into her teeth, Carinosa carries him out. "Names ...names ...how about Wally?"

"Of course, Wally looks nothing like my beloved Hammy ..." She stops as her voice chokes up at the memory of lowering the rock into the ground.
