Relief fills her young mind as Carinosa leaps into view. Scrambling behind her, she peers under the chestnut mare's barrel at the toad. "There," she whispers. The toad's chest expands as he breathes, and he utters another loud ribbit. She squeals, horrified. "THERE THERE THERE HE IS HE'S GONNA EAT ME!"
