"It's okay, Maleah. These things won't hurt you. Did you know that in France horses eat them?" She nudges the filly comfortingly, "It's alright. Nothing'll getcha while I'm here, anyway." The sound of the two horses crashing through the bramble sends her shaking, however. Quivering, the young mare's eyes dart warily from side-to-side. "Oh gods," She whispers under her breath, standing in front of Maleah protectively. "Alright, let's just...." Panic seizes her heart as she realizes that the sounds were coming from the entrance of the woods - their exit.

She breathed, her eyes darting around them at the shadows, ignoring the frog that had hopped away by now, not taking to all the commotion.
