Altho i may have guessed close enuf, i did not quite get the full meaning of the word from CWG. Seen this from another newsgroup.

Namaste'

****Commonly written "Namaste", it is pronounced as "Namastay" (nah-mah-STAY´) with the first two a's as the first a in "America" and the ay as in "stay", but with the t pronounced soft with the
area just behind the tip of the tongue pressing against the upper-front teeth with no air passing (as the t in "tamasha").

***In early Greek Christian circles it was used to convey the thought "the Christ in me beholds the Christ in you".

****For, Hindu(s)Namaste, the word, is a Hindu greeting meaning "The presence of God in me honors the presence of God in you. When we
recognize this divine light in each other, we are One."...it means "before you I lean myself". The greeting of choice is "Namaste," the two hands pressed together and held near the heart with the head gently bowed as one says, "Namaste." Thus
is both a spoken greeting and a gesture, a Mantr(a) and a Mudr(a).

******NAMASTÉ - (Na-ma-stay) A Sanskrit word used as a salutation or blessing. Can be translated as "the divine in me honors and blesses the divine in you, in truth, we are one, the I AM". In
Sanskrit "Namas" means, "bow, obeisance, reverential salutation." It comes from the root Nam, which carries meanings of bending, bowing, humbly submitting and becoming silent. "Te" means "to you." Thus "namaste" means "I bow to you."
the act of greeting is called "Namaskaram," "Namaskara" and "Namaskar" in the varied languages of the subcontinent.

****A Tibetan greeting that essentially means "I honor the oneness of spirit within you that is also within me."

*****The Nepalese greeting 'Namaste',:
'I honor that place in you where the whole Universe resides. And when I am in that place in me and you are in that place in you, there is only one of us.'

*****The gesture Namaste represents the belief that there is a Divine spark within each of us that is located in the heart chakra. The gesture is an acknowledgment of the soul in one by the soul in another. "Nama" means bow, "as" means I, and "te" means you. Therefore, Namaste literally means "bow me you" or "I bow to you."

****Namaste.....The Divine Mystery in me welcomes and salutes the Divine Mystery in You. )

****Namaste' Native American saying...one way...

I honor the light in your eyes,
That show the flame held with your heart.
We are part of the whole,
We are one in soul...
We are one.

Another....Namaste means...."All my relations"

****Namaste
Here's to the place in you where the entire universe resides.
Here's to the place in you of love, of light, of truth, of peace.
Here's to the place within you where if you are in that place in you and I am in that place in me there is only one of us.

****In Lemurian, "Namaste" is an ancient word that was utilized to trigger the deep awareness between two or more souls of their underlying truth. The underlying truth of two or more souls is a vibrational resonance that holds a specific function in creation and upon Earth and throughout time and space and form. As two or more souls hold their specific function in any creation, the truth of the creation becomes amplified such that the entire creation may hold
its truth in a state of honor. It is only in such a state that any creation can evolve and ascend.
