The grey mare trots over with an expression of severe concern. The colt seemed for one thing too young to be alone, and for another in terrible condition. His pitiful whinny had summoned her maternal instincts from where they were still growing inside her, and she was not about to let him stay here like this. She examines him thoroughly, and gets a strange sense of something greater lying buried inside his scrawny body. With a tentative nuzzle that's more of a nudge, she murmurs to him "My name is Carcajou. Would you let me bring you back to my home? I think you need some help... your eye looks very painful."

((It is very difficult for me to come to the Join board because it takes about 5 minutes to load for some reason on my computer, so if he accepts could you just bring him to Death Valley for me? If not, that's cool, but I can't come back and check, sorry about that!! Shouldn't have replied if I cause inconvenience, but it was such a tempting post... nicely done ;P))
