Buffy started 15 years ago, but I didn't. Didn't get into the groove of things until end of season 2, with "Passion." Hate to admit it, but stupid show changed my frigging life!

The first scene I saw was Spike talking about being a vampire at Woodstock. The first full episode was "lie to me"..love followed.

My first episodes were "Surprise"/"Innocence," then I went back one with "Bad Eggs," and then continued watching the remainder of Season Two. Along the way, the WB would show repeats from Season One, and as I recall at one point I was completely caught up except for (oddly) the fourth episode of each season ("Teacher's Pet" and "Inca Mummy Girlo"), so I had to purchase the DVD's.
Been watching ever since.

This was my experience also. There was a promo advertising that one of Buffy's friends was going to betray her and then in 3 weeks another one of her friends was going to die. I decided to watch it out of curiousity, and like Leoff, changed my life.
I even own a Sarah McClachlan cd.
