Subject: Sorta OT: Hi! , A Random Request, & A Good Read

Hello All! It's been a long time since Ive posted, but I am still a huge Buffy fan (and an occasional Cross & Stake lurker). Just wanted to say hi, ask a favor, and suggest some enoyable end-of-summer reading.

So, first...Hi!!


Now the random request: In the last few years Ive moved on from undergrad to grad school and decided to buy a MacBook when I made the transition. Being the totally cool guy that I am (modest, I know!) I agreed to let my roommate use my desktop computer. He decided to delete all of my old files off of my PC including a portion of my thesis and some of my original essays. Needless to say, I wasnt happy!

There were two essays about Buffy that I wanted to keep a copy of. Both of them were posted on this board.

The first was titled: Buffy's Big Bad's: Growing Up to Face the Darkness Within

The second was: Bloodlines, Resurrection, the First, and Mystical Forces

I guess what I want to know is whether or not it is possible to access old posts made years ago on the board. Or if anyone kept a copy of the essay that be cool too!


Finally, the Good Read: I just finished 'The Name of the Wind' a novel published in 2007 by Buffy fan Patrick Rothfuss. It is the first of a trilogy and is a great read with themes and characters that most Buffy fans will probably enjoy. I recommend checking it out.
