I called it a few months ago that Riley was going to be evil. Joss is losing creativity in my honest opinion, If RIley IS undeercover that would be refreshing. But I am actually losing all hope

Did Buffy BREAK FRAY'S SCYTHE?

1) Riley is at least apparently working with Twilight, although the precise reasons are currently unknown.

(Although contrary to some speculation Twilight is NOT Riley. My current suspicion is that Twilight is someone new, although Wesley's dad is still an interesting possibility.)

2) It looked like Buffy broke the handle.

3) "Evil" may not be precisely the best term for future-Willow. It does appear that she set up this sequence with the intent of having Buffy kill her before returning to the past. Presumably she wanted this to influence something Buffy does in the past, although exactly what is unknown.

(Stormwreath (Stephen Tempest) suggested on his livejournal and the Buffy usenet newsgroup that at some point Buffy sided with Twilight against Willow, resulting in Twilight's victory. And that Willow managed to survive and then came up with a long-term plan to reverse this. One key part of this being the emotional impact that having to kill future-Willow will have on Buffy. I rather like this analysis, even though trying to outguess Joss tends to be a low-probability game.)

For some reason I thought The Scythe was "UNBREAKABLE" LoL Where I got that notion from is beyond me. Oh well


Either way I hope it becomes MORE clear on what happened to Willow, How she managed to SURVIVE past 2 Hundred years and why Riley is working with/for Twilight. I really do not want Twilight to be someoen Buffy knows. This will be the first Villain that wears a Mask.

I am not too sure that would be Wesley's Dad though. If he were the Villain he would be in the Angel comic. But that is just my opinion.

I am also hearing that Faith will be back in 2009 so I am definitely looking forward to that

PS Why is DAWN still going through all that stuff? It has been almost 2 years already.
