I also liked Riley. I just thought he had better chemistry with Willow and not Buffy.

From the way things started out, I was expecting something very different - Buffy didn't seem interested in Riley and there wasn't any UST - and it seemed as if the only reason Buffy started looking at him like a real prospect was because Willow liked him. I thought we'd get some kind of girlfight over Riley which would bring out Willow's underlying jealousy of Buffy and Buffy's need to be top dog in her little Scooby circle.
