There hasn't been a ship like it before or since IMO. Unless I am missing it on some great show that I don't watch? If so, can someone please tell me? I am missing my shipping. I am insanely excited about the new X-files film as a result.

I say I'm not a shipper cuz I don't get invested in them, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate grand opera type passion when I see it. Spuffy was grand opera, cosmic highs and lows, signature arias, and the divas fighting for the limelight.

I don't watch a lot of TV, but on the shows I do watch the romances have been pretty tepid. Furtive glances instead of crushing kisses, emotional constipation instead of sweeping angst. If anybody's seen passion out there, I'd really like to know about it.

Their kiss in the season finale had me reduced to a blubbing mess (that, and someone else's possible fiery death). Their love story was only really introduced at the end of Season 2, and yet it's been the driving force of the show ever since. How things will look now that they've been reunited I have no idea.

I got tired of never knowing what was going on. I might rent the DVDs this summer to catch up.

I gave up after season 1 too, but halfway through season 3 the word was the show was getting awesome again - and then they announced the fixed end-date for the show, and I went back and rented season 2 and dled the season 3 episodes that I'd missed... If you whiz through season 2 and the first 6 episodes of season 3, that's when it picks up again into being made of win. This season has been nothing short of incredible :)

*pimps Lost out like a crack-addicted whore lady of disrepute*

See my post on the red board looking for recommendations for summer watching (of the rentable kind. No reality TV for me! rofl)
