This whole thing made me angry...

Quite frankly whether he was black, white or polkadot the character was rubbish. Never bite the hand that feeds you there's another quote from the same interview where he's just slating everything the producers do - and when asked if he'd go back "that depends on the story" yeah mate - got a feeling you're staying dead.

I can sort of see where he's coming from (the idea of Walt, the only remaining living black person on the show, being first part of broken home and then an orphan does leave a bit of a squicky taste in one's mouth, plus there was the ridiculously abrupt departure of Mr. Eko), but I think he's being oversensitive about the issue. Frankly, I think he's being a short-sighted drama queen and only looking at the story of the show in terms of how it relates to him, which is a flawed perspective on an ensemble show like this.
