Subject: How many "r's" in interruptus?

And those Greek dipthongs are so difficult to render in English.

But I rather think that Spike was being kind, because unless Riley had unsuspected depths, I don't see where Buffy would have gotten her information. And it seemed like a contrast to when Angelus told her she wasn't any good in the sack.

Then again, we could go with the metaphor - that women are so superhumanly sexy that they destroy mens' ability to...spell...or something. One of those hidden Slayer skills passed down from the First Slayer...no wonder the Watcher's Council was so nervous.

Angelus was trying to hurt her, so nothing he said about Buffy's sexual ability can be believed.

As for Spike, I suspect he was speaking hyperbolically. That would be in keeping with his once having the soul of a poet. Even a bloody awful one.

Although considering it was Buffy's first time, I don't think she could have had all that much ability. My point was that Buffy's first vampire told her she was no good and her second told her she was fabulous - I'm not making any judgements about Angel or Spike or Buffy here - just pointing out something the writers chose to do, that's all.

Would have been a busy night. But would have explained why she had such a hard time letting go of the poophead.

Angelus told her she wasn't any good in the sack, because he wanted to hurt her, it doesn't mean it was true....and if you think about, Buffy might have learn from Angel, and Parker.

[that Buffy's first vampire told her she was no good and her second told her she was fabulous - ]

..so what did Riley think?
